Welcome to Kat’s Art for Africa! My name is Katherine Holland. I am an 18 year old senior in high school who wants to make a difference.

I started Kat’s Art for Africa when I was a freshman. I wanted to start a business incorporating my love for art and a desire to help the poor. Fifty percent of the profits from selling the cards will be donated to help kids in Africa. What I Do

My goal is to help the poor in Africa while doing something that I love. I decided to start a business selling cards with my artwork on them. Fifty percent of the proceeds that I receive are used to help kids in Africa. The summer before my sophomore year I was able to go on a mission trip with my family to Kenya, Africa. This was an incredible experience where I got to learn more about how these people actually live. That trip inspired me even more to continue with my business. The first thing I was able to accomplish was being able to purchase a cow for a family in need. I hope to be able to continue to do more projects like this.

Who I Am

I’m a senior in high school and I enjoy painting, photography and theatre. I have six younger siblings – 4 brother and 2 sisters -I love family time. One of the most amazing experiences I have had was getting to go on a mission trip with my whole family to Africa.
